Tesla proudly introduces a new model of the famous Tesla vehicle called Model S 70D, which is a new dual motor all-wheel drive electric car.
The new model S has a starting price of $75,000, but it comes with a complex and a very compelling set of features.
Tesla Model S 70D can be considered an upgrade of the base model which had less power and provided a smaller range.
The new car uses a 70 kWh battery pack which offers a 240 mile range calculated for an average speed of 65 mph.
The two electric motors produce together 329 HP and the car reaches 60 mph in 5.2 seconds, with a top speed of 140 mph.
I already mentioned that the starting price is $75,000, but due to fuel savings and incentives, owning a new Tesla Model S 70D means a cost of only $57,500 over a period of five years.
The upgraded version of the Model S offers autopilot software, supercharging hardware, navigation, blind spot detection and many other features, but no “Insane mode”.
Three new colors are available with this upgraded version, and as for any other Model S, the 70D will receive free updates that will improve the functionality and the driving experience of the owner.
Due to several state and federal incentives, owning a Tesla has become more affordable than ever.
